Brand consistency

Give AI your house style, not a vague mood.

Use brand guidelines, writing examples, colours and logo assets to create AI content that fits your identity across posters, reports and campaigns.

Build a small, usable brand pack

A brand guide is often longer than a particular task needs. Create a task pack containing the approved logo, colour values and roles, typography rules, one successful example and one example that misses the brand. Include practical constraints such as minimum logo size and the treatment of photography.

For writing, provide a real sample and explain its audience. Distinguish brand voice from campaign tone: the identity can remain consistent while an apology sounds different from a product launch.

Read this brand pack and extract the rules relevant to [asset]. Separate mandatory rules, preferences and missing details. Reference the source of each rule. Ask about conflicts instead of silently choosing. Return a short checklist we can use to review the draft.

Specify visual roles instead of listing colours

A palette alone does not tell the model which colour dominates, which signals an action or which belongs behind text. Describe those relationships. A visual reference should also establish the spacing, contrast and kind of image you want.

Keep exact assets exact. If the output format cannot reliably preserve a font, wordmark or logo, use placeholders and assemble those elements in an appropriate editor.

Apply [brand] to this campaign layout. Use [colour] for the main field, [colour] only for the call to action and [colour] for text. Follow the reference's generous spacing and left-aligned hierarchy. Reserve a fixed area for the supplied logo; do not redraw it.

Measure voice through observable features

‘Premium’ could mean restrained, luxurious, technical or exclusive. Replace adjectives with choices: sentence length, vocabulary, claims, rhythm and the amount of humour. Use an example to resolve ambiguous rules.

Rewrite [copy] for our [audience]. Follow these voice rules: [rules]. Keep the offer and evidence unchanged. Show a comparison explaining where the new version follows each rule, and flag any place where consistency would make the message less clear.

Check consistency across assets

A poster, landing page and follow-up email should carry the same promise even when their layouts differ. Review the set for inconsistent offer wording, different deadlines, new claims and mismatched calls to action. Consistency is as much about meaning as appearance.

Try this prompt

Compare this poster, landing-page draft and email as one campaign. Find differences in the offer, proof, deadline, tone and desired action. Suggest the smallest revisions that make the set consistent without copying the same paragraph everywhere.

Common questions

Is a logo enough for AI to learn my brand?

No. A logo does not specify voice, layout, colour roles or image treatment. Supply a compact set of rules and successful examples.
